My UK & EU Trip October-November 2006

Leaving the Red Hook Section of Brooklyn, New York on the 19th of October, I flew back home to London for business meetings relating to licensing one of my inventions, namely a battery-less and wireless electrical switch.

This computer rendered model is a British Standard self-powered switch design.

This is a flat (15 millimeters thick) design version of the switch.
The electronics and battery-less generator are contained within the face plate.

LONDON FROM 20 October to 31 October 2006

My Favourite Hotel; The Regency in Kensington, West End.

The Regency Hotel on Queensgate, SW3

Queensgate Mews, back of the hotel.

A London Cab on Cromwell Road, SW3.
The cabbie is thinking: "Me mum picks me clothes, but I pick me nose!"

I'm going to the Victoria & Albert Museum on Brompton Road, SW3
There was a DaVinci exhibition there of his many codex papers and inventions.

The flying machine in the V & A exhibition.

It was forbidden to use a flash or even take photos in the V & A Museum, so
I had to just shoot on the fly and hpe for in focus and non-dithered results.
Some shots turned out better than others.

The Xmas gift shop in the V & A Museum.

Well, Well, Well...............Now what have we here:-)
It has come down to this.....BLIMEY!

What next?.......... Warhol for Dummies?
No I didn't buy a copy, thank you very much!

Leaving the gift shop...........too many noisy school children.

Why it's the old No. 14 Double Bubble, at rest in Knightsbridge.

A new silver Lamborghini at the dealership on Old Brompton Road, Knightsbridge.
There are so many of them here in the West End of London.

Guess where?

A Lady's Lamborghini. Cute for 200,000 GBP.

So is it Y...........EVIL  or  YEVIL, as in bevel?
Whatever the case, it's bloody beautiful.

What a shotsky!

WATERSTONE'S me favourite bookshop, on Old Brompton Road, Knightsbridge.

This is on Old Brompton Road as well.

LUNDUM'S Restaurant, the olny Danish restaurant in London.
This is where I, along with Sir Roger Moore and family dined several years ago after delivering a painting to him.
The old Edwardian style building is gorgeous inside, the staff is fantastic: The staff is fantastic and friendly, and of course the Danish cuisine is heavenly.

Sir Roger Moore and grandaughter Mia at Lundum's with me.
She has curly hair like me and kept staring at me and wouldn't take her eyes off me.
What a little babydoll. I took the photo with my mobile phone built-in camera.
We had a marvelous time together. Sir Roger is a cut above, a real gentleman and brilliant as well.

"THE SMART" a great way of getting around London and not having any parking problems.

A MASERATI in the dealer's window a few doors down from LUNDUM'S in Old Brompton Road, Kensington.

This was in one of the front windows at Harrod's Department Store on Brompton Road in Knightsbridge.

The lounge sitting room at the Regency Hotel in Kensington.
I highly reccomend it and it is on Queensgate almost at the corner of Old Brompton Road.
The place is spotless, prices, quite good, staff kind and a cut above.
The daily buffet lunch in their elegant dining room
below ground floor is fit for "The Queen."

Another view of the sitting hotel sitting room.

A view from the sitting room looking out into the hotel lobby.

The funny thing of it is that he actually lives not far away in the area.

A little cut shop in South Kensington.
Guess what they do here at World's End? T he name of the shop it is.

increased and got in the EYE!

It's only noon and the clouds are black and the rain bursts
are pinching with the wind. The EYE is well.

People Pods.

It's the red motor drive that makes it all go round and round.
Where she stops I hope somebody knows:-)))
